Higgins Lake September 2007
| Higgins Lake 2007 had sunshine and warm waters for us. The winds were light but the competition was tough and the Saturday evening dinner party the best ever. Everyone camps together so there is always a lot of hot air blowing in camp. Below skippers gather for instructions. I arrived late Thursday with several others who were treated to gusty winds on Friday that stretched out the muscles. |

| It's great to see the camp ground covered with boards of all types and ages. Besides the racers there were several campers there just for the fun plus area locals. The regatta is held the first weekend after Labor Day and South Higgins Lake State Park is quiet then as the summer crowd is long gone. | ![]() |
| The Sunday morning pancake and sauage campfire breakfast has become a tradition I hope never stops. Here the cook prepares to feed a few dozen hungry campers. |
