I always felt it was important for us watermen to have a certain respect and sense of ownership for the water we use. After all if the people who ise the water dont care for it, who will? The oil spill in the SF Bay last month really brought together the people that use the Bay in the clean up effort. It was great to see windsurfers, surfers, kiters, swimmers, sailors and boaters all involved in the clean up effort.
